Official Top 10 SWEETS that you need before your DIET!

Submitted by Nayah Singleton

Eating sweets is a good way to reward yourself after a hard working day from work or school and you know it, so cater yourself to these ten amazing sweets that you deserve from pretty good to the best of the best.

#10. S’mores

These camp loving goodies are top ten mainly because they are obviously delicious but not eaten on the regular. DON’T get me wrong they are as loveable as they sound. With the crunch of a graham cracker under and top, and the melted flavor of a big marshmallow and chocolate it’s like being given a big hug on your tongue.

#9. Beignets

Bread and powdered sugar never tasted so good. That’s right I’m talking about Beignets, they are Louisiana’s favorite pastry and maybe even yours. They’re a type of fritter, or deep-fried pastry, typically made from pâte à choux, but may also be made from other types of dough, including yeast dough.

#8. Banana Pudding

Banana pudding consists of layers of vanilla custard, cookies or cake, and sliced bananas topped with whipped cream or meringue. It is like a traditional English Trifle, which is similarly made with layers of cake, fruit and custard. It is the South faves and even mine hopefully you’ll love the taste of it too.

#7. Cake

Cake is a great tickle for your taste buds, it helps ease you down with different delicious flavors. It makes a perfect dessert, and the good thing is there’s different kinds of cake textures, rather it’s sponge cake, cookie cake, pound cake. It’s enjoyable, and will never leave your heart feeling like an ache. There’s a wide range of occasions that cakes can be greatly used, like for weddings, birthdays, and for when your feeling sad or just because you feel you deserve it.

#6. Pie
Pie is sooooo iconic, with its flaky crusts, and gooey fruit fillings, it tricks you into loving fruit even when you know you hate it. Or if you’re not a fruit person, that is perfectly fine because you have pie in the nut family like pecan pie, and walnut pie, or you can go with the creams like banana cream pie or coconut cream pie, but hey no worries, I won’t judge.

Cheesecakes are very much underrated, but it’s okay because I’m going to prove why they deserve the love. They are enjoyable even when having a unique topping and flavor like oreo cheesecake, nutella, or key lime. It’s sweet, cheesy and creamy taste is just a chef’s kiss.

#4. Cinnamon Rolls

Whoever thought of this sweet treat deserves to be granted a Nobel Peace prize. They are soft spirals of buttery dough filled with hypnotic swirls of warm cinnamon and sugar and the way they melt in your mouth is like a circled taste of heaven.

#3. Ice Cream

Anyone who knows that feeling of finding out that you’re drooling when looking at an ice cream cone can understand the fact that the sugary, creamy treat is pretty much irresistible (especially when you’re lactose intolerant). Ice cream is a rich, sweet, creamy frozen food made from variously flavored cream and milk products churned or stirred to a smooth consistency during the freezing process that you will truly adore.

#2. Chocolate Chip Cookies
The melty chocolate chunks and the yummy taste of flour mixed with baked eggs, melting butter, and sweet sugar are the rich flavors that blend together in a Chocolate Chip Cookie. Chocolate Chip Cookies are a baked dessert that is typically small, flat and sweet. I personally think that they taste more friendlier when they’re warm, soft and dipped into milk, but that’s just my taste. The only way for you to know is to put your tastebuds to the test.

#1. Brownies

If the rich ooey gooey taste of chocolate baked is one of your favorite tastes then, boy do I have a treat for you. Brownies are a staple of home-baked goods that any home’s kitchen will kindly love. They are an American chocolate dessert made very much like cake even though they have slightly different ingredients, and truly deserves to be number 1!
